Web Rings & Frustration...

***RANT Alert***

I like to work my way around a ring to see new blogs that I may have never found before. It seems like every time I eventually get to a blog and either I can't find my way out, it sends me to some obscure site totally unrelated to the link or RingSurf comes up and says that the blog doesn't belong to the ring. My question is how can I get on a site using the ring but then it not be on the ring. This probably doesn't make much sense and maybe I need to learn more about web rings. Oh well, life goes on. Thanks for listening.

***RANT Over***

It happens when a blog has the site code up, but hasn't been approved in the ring yet. It can also happen if the blogger doesn't have the correct ring code displayed. If that happens, the best thing to do is go back, then click on the name of the ring. You can also go to the Ring Surf homepage, then enter in the name of the ring and view all the sites who are ring members.

Speaking of rings-- are you looking to join one?? (hint, hint!) If so, check out http://www.ringsurf.com/netring?action=info&ring=uKnitted_Nations and join us!!!

I agree, it's so frustrating when people hide the code. I hate when I get dead-ended just because the blogger forgot or wanted a "cooler" site or something . . .

But, Felicia, how does that explain how you GOT to the site in the first place? (grin)

Erica--thanks for the RAOK card and magnet! They arrived on the same day as my Visa bill, so your timing was excellent.
